The Festival brings the best of new Polish films to Washington, returning us once again to the movie theatre where we can enjoy great cinema together and an unforgettable experience of contemporary Polish culture.

Patronage and Jury
The WPFF is proud to announce that an Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Agnieszka Holland, the director of the recent important film Green Border, has agreed to be the honorary patron of our Festival. Also, the Festival is a juried competition, which means that both feature films and short films compete for prizes such as best film, best director, best actor, and best actress. Leading the jury this year will be the Oscar-nominated director of Boże Ciało (Corpus Christie), Jan Komasa.
