On this special evening—marking the opening of the 2026 KF Washington DC Polish Film Festival—we are proud to present Dagmara Dominczyk with the Kosciuszko Foundation 2026 Pioneer Award in recognition of her outstanding achievements in film.
This exclusive event is by invitation only for VIP guests and Festival Pass holders.
Polish born actress Dagmara Dominczyk is a versatile performer whose work spans major films, hit television series, and Broadway stages.
Recently, Dagmara can be seen in the Netflix series Black Rabbit directed by Laura Linney, Justin Kurzel, Ben Semanoff, and Jason Bateman.
Dagmara has starred in the short film Goodnight, directed by Isabel Pask, Miller’s Girl with Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega, the short film F*ck That Guy, directed by Hannah Gray Organschi, and Travel Essentials (Rzeczy niezbedne), directed by Kamila Tarabura, and appeared in an episode of American Horror Stories.
In 2023, she appeared opposite Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, as Priscilla Presley’s mother Ann Beaulieu based on the famous 1985 memoir Elvis and Me.
Additional film appearances include the Academy Award-nominated film The Lost Daughter, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Bottoms, directed by Emma Seligman and co-written by Rachel Sennott, My Love Affair with Marriage, directed by Signe Baumane, Abe, The Assistant, Higher Ground, Trust the Man with David Duchovny, Lonely Hearts, opposite Salma Hayek, The Count of Monte Cristo, Rock Star, Ryan Murphy’s Running with Scissors, and Phantom with Ed Harris, among others.
On television, she starred in the hit show Succession as Karolina Novotney. Also on HBO, she starred as Erika Jensen in the mini-series We Own This City. Other television appearances include Hello Tomorrow!, Prodigal Son, The Accidental Wolf, The Deuce, Boardwalk Empire, Person of Interest, Suits, The Good Wife, 24, Five People You Meet in Heaven, Bedford Diaries, and Law & Order: SVU, and more.
To note, she has also appeared in the Broadway productions Closer, The Violet Hour, and Enchanted and wrote her first novel The Lullaby of Polish Girls, published by Random House’s Spiegel & Grau in 2013.
Soon, she will appear in Harris Gurny’s romantic comedy Adulting, Tonight at Noon, directed by Michael Almereyda, and Apple TV+’s crime thriller series The Savant, starring Jessica Chastain.
